Celebrating Strong Gals and (Lots of) Good Wine

Anyone who knows me knows I love hosting dinner parties. I'm telling you, I get borderline sexually aroused by planning a good tablescape. So when I was given the opportunity to partner with Ramona wine to host a Galentine's Day dinner party at my house, I jumped on it. For those not hip enough to know, Ramona is a lightly sparkling organic Sicilian wine mixed with natural grapefruit flavors. Kind of like a pink grapefruit wine spritz. And can we talk about those cans?

The goal of the party was to gather a group of badass Denver females to celebrate Ramona launching in Colorado. We had a professionally diverse group that ranged from sommeliers to social workers to entrepreneurs. For décor, I wanted the tablescape to basically look like a Ramona can drank too much of itself and vomited all over the table. In a chic and classy way, of course. I also wanted to create a similar vibe to the Valentine's Day dinner Miranda and Carrie go to in the Sex & the City movie, so I coated the ceiling of my living room in heart balloons. I topped it all with my favorite wine glasses, these insanely cute crowns by FestiveGal (she makes pre-designed and custom crowns for sale on Etsy AND is a fellow Denverite) and very lovey-dovey centerpieces to make it all come together.

It was such a fun night of toasting Romana, inhaling amazing food by Sunday Vinyl (if you ever visit Denver, you have to check them out and if you live here and haven't been, what the actual hell may I ask are you waiting for?) and celebrating all things ~*~gUrL pOwEr~*~
