Blue Matcha Rose Latte Recipe

What do you get when you combine Bridget being up at 3am with internet access? Bizarre and random online purchases, like this blue matcha powder. Do I drink matcha drinks? Not really. Did I need this blue matcha powder? Definitely not. But did I have a freakout when I saw it and immediately click "add to cart?" You better believe I did. And what resulted is this beautiful Blue Matcha Rose Latte recipe.

Video Details:

Ingredients (makes one matcha latte):
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 3 tablespoons rose hibiscus tea
  • 1 teaspoon matcha powder - I used this kind
  • Ice
  1. Combine the milk and the hibiscus tea in the cocktail shaker and give her a little shake.
  2. Fill your glass with ice and pour the milk and tea mixture in.
  3. Give the cocktail shaker a rinse, then add the matcha powder and water. Shake her again.
  4. Pour the matcha into your glass and top with a garnish. I used a rose petal but edible dried roses would also be lovely.

Cheers, you lovely soul!
